- It is functionally identical to the original equipment part it is replacing
- It does not degrade the emissions performance of the vehicle
- It will be installed in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions

It is still the responsibility of the vehicle owner to ensure that the replacement intercooler is compliant with all applicable emissions regulations.
