If I install this engine in a 1984 Suburban (5 lug wheels) will it still have a warranty? I understand that I will need to use an electric fuel pump.

    Asked by: Bill46203
Yes but not the longest warranty possible because this isn't the direct replacement. One of our representatives would be able to find the correct one at 1.800.345.4545

Out of curiosity why will this not fit a factory 6 lug vehicle?

    Asked by: dane76
The 6 lug applications are for 3/4 ton and larger trucks. The warranty will not apply if installed in those vehicles. It would actually bolt in to many of those trucks, but no warranty would apply.

Looking at installing this in a 1986 Chevy K10. Original engine is a 305. Obviously intake won't work. Will there be any problems with oil pan configuration, ie fitment issues? How about motor mounts? 305 accessories, ie, pullies, alt etc?

    Asked by: 86chevyk10
Engine mounts along with front drive accessories will interchange. The oil pan will fit this 86 K10 as well.
