Crate Engines

On 010 yr GMC truck GM long block engine w/cast iron block .what the warranty on GM new engine
I see that it states this engine is "factory manufactured V8" and "New Goodwrench Replacement". I have been told that this engine is more than likely a GM reman. Is this a new long block or is it a manufactured long block? Thank you.
Will this engine hold boost? I am looking to put a 88mm turbo onto it.
