Cold Case Radiators GPF18A Features:
1970-1981 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am Aluminum Performance Radiator. Auto Trans Cars. These COLD-CASE radiators are Tig welded 100 percent aluminum and absolutely beautiful. Don't buy a 3 or 4 row aluminum radiator! It doesn't cool as good as these oversize 2 row models. These radiators are original appearing and have the correct stamping. Once painted, you'd be hard pressed to find a difference over an original versus a COLD-CASE.100 percent TIG weldedAll AluminumPolished OE style tanks(2) 1.25 inch tubes16 fins per inchCorrugated fins that give more surface area and more thermal transferPressure testedFor Auto transmissionDirect fitment for 70-81 Firebird Trans AmOld Part Number: RFE18LRadiator SpecsCore Height 18.4 inchCore Width 27.5 inchOverall Height 18.8 inchOverall Width 33.2 inchOverall Thickness 3 inchTubes (2) 1.25 inch TubesUpper Hose 1.57 inchLower Hose 1.57 inchSpecifications:
Are these direct fit with no modification? Do the factory transmission cooler lines screw in or do you need a different fitting? Are the mounts the same? I have a 1978 Firebird Esprit Skybird with a 350 engine and automatic. Thanks
