Rated 5 out of 5 by from worked for what my dad needed 1991 chevy 5.7 efi we bought it for a 1991 chevy truck that had helicoil damage on the starter bolts , no way to repair , at least for us so we tried this product and we made it work. We had to do very minor modifications on the starter (had to get one from a 1965 chevy ) but it turned on.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Brightest idea yet!! I thought I would try this route before replacing my engine block due to a cracked starter boss. It worked perfectly! 0010 block with a 700r4 transmission. The worst part: I had to make 2 trips to the hardware store for longer torque converter bolts and longer flexplate bolts (manual trans flywheel bolts work properly.) Other than that, I couldn't be happier.
