D380-C - Doug's Corvette Sidemount Header Systems is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 3.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from C3 corvette fit 406 Dart engine. Steeroids rack and pinion. These do clear the steering but clear they do.I would recommend 3/16 motor mount spacers. Very easy to install using jack stands.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Fitment I installed these headers on a 1980 C3 with automatic transmission and no AC. I had to modify the body at a small point on the passenger side that rubbed against one pipe, other than that they bolted on without a problem. During installation and tightening of the bolts there was a little bit of flaking on the chrome. Not noticeable once installed, but should be considered when installing to minimize roughing them up.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from 1980 C3 Corvette, Install taking longer than expec Working off jack stands makes it some what difficult, but possible. Pulled alternator, A/C compressor, plugs and wires to make room. Not to bad getting headers installed (drivers’ side), little tight at steering arm. I may have to modify pipe a little to clear. Side pipe didn’t fit using the directions. Directions say to install the T bolt in the slotted holes, but it set the side pipe to far back and high the door hit the pipe. I will have to fabricate hangers. I did a lot of research comparing Doug’s and Hooker (maybe is should have paid the extra cash for the hookers) don’t get me wrong Doug make a good header and when doing a change like this I always expect some extra work. Just my luck on the install. Little note if you don’t have a lift pay the install labor and have the work done.
