Rated 5 out of 5 by from A new formula, but still the same color. In 1998, I cleaned up and resprayed the 350 Rocket in my 1971 Cutlass with Duplicolor Universal Gold (c'mon -- it is Oldsmobile Gold). Fast forward to 2016: The water pump went out about a week before the Oldsmobile Nationals. I didn't have time to paint the whole motor. I was certain the paint on a new waterpump would stand out. What would I do? I bought a new waterpump and painted it Duplicolor Universal Gold hoping it wouldn't look too different. IT MATCHED PERFECTLY. Its sometimes hard to match paint one rattle can to another -- this matched 18 years apart! Don't try to put down a thick coat; it will run badly and not cover. A few thin coats does the job. The 1998 paint burnt some (browned) on the typical intake manifold hot spots. The new paint is advertised to be more heat resistant.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Is it paint or colored water? This paint has the least amount of actual coloring component that I have ever seen in a spray can. What should have taken 1 coat coverage ended up needing 3. Never again.
