Stock 1987 chevy truck 5.7 vin K motor. Spectre ram air kit, Trans-Dapt spacer (between tbi & intake), long tube headers. Really brought my truck to life. Runs like a scalded dog compared to before. Turn down the fuel regulator to lean out rich fuel mixture if need be. Very rich when I first put it on. Get a heated o2 sensor for long tube headers. My setup, with a little fuel pressure tuning, goes into closed loop (ECM).

Great Product
Had the Holley on my k1500 for about 3-4 weeks now. The throttle response is great compared to the stock TBI from over 20 years ago. Simple install minor tunning to get idle right but feels like a gain of around 20-30 horsepower with my headers combined.

Woke up our Suburban
Could not be happier. Our Birb was sluggish and needed a wake up. I had read conflicting reviews about leaks etc. all I can say was mine was perfect, it was quick to install and gave no issues. I can see where if you were not carefull you could cross thread the fuel lines but that would be solely operator error.
The difference in performance was night and day. If I was building another TBI this is the first mod I would make.

On the fence
I replaced the stock throttle body off of my 89 Chevy van with this upgraded Holley throttle-body. The original throttlebody on my van worked fine although it was 30 years old and I felt the upgrade would be a positive. My van currently has a new crate motor, Edlebrock intake, headers, a stage II chip, and a rebuilt 700r4 tranny with a shift kit. I figured the Holley would be icing on the cake. Well.... it’s more like a sugar glaze. I’m not 100% convinced that I can feel much difference by the seat of my pants test. It has lead me to consider an upgraded fuel pump since I am currently running the original. I have read that unhooking the battery then reconnecting it will reset the computer which should adjust itself to the new throttle body. I did that so we’ll see the results soon. I hope. Happy with the product. Ready to feel the performance.

Price
I looked at reviews saw one where guy was complaining about the little over $300 he had paid for his.
And I'm thinking to myself it's tripled in cost since then! The Dollar ain't worth dirt anymore and as a Country we are doomed!
It's a place most can't even afford to live in anymore. A lot of us don't want to live in it anymore.
Unfortunately I will not be buying this part, we're talking about a part for a 30 year old truck that I paid less than $800. To purchase, and one part is costing more than I paid for whole truck!
It's a sad state of affairs, when you can't even get on the road for a fair price anymore.
Greed and corruption has gotten us here.
Greed and corruption will take us right over the edge of the cliff as well.
Bet your not selling to many of these things.
Would have loved to give it a try, but that price for a throttle body?..... to go on a 30 year old truck?...... that's ridiculous.

I bought this 5 years ago for maybe a little more than 300.00 though. Has our currency lost 50% of it's worth? Why is this so expensive now? In fact, why are so many thing so much more now than they were just a few years ago?

Hello, I am trying to know what changes between the model 89 and 90 apart from the TPS sensor plug. Can we change the round plug for the flat plug and make works the 90 Holley model on a 89 TBI suburban? Thank a lot
