Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome Turbo Blanket. I bought this to install on my T-3 sized turbo on my 1985 Mercedes 300D, OM617 engine. It seems like it will fit good even though there is an integral wastegate on that specific turbo model. I know this isn't specific for that type of application but was willing to chance it due to the great price. I will give feedback on longevity once installed, it's still in process right now but I am impressed by quality as shipped. Looking forward to keeping my under hood heat down and performance up as much as possible, especially here in the Southern AZ desert where we hit 115F every single summer without fail.
