Coolant Filler Neck Relocation Made Easy
JEGS filler neck kits for 90 degree Chevy V6, Small Block Chevy, and Big Block Chevy V8 engines allow your system to be filled from the intake manifold to minimize air. In many race applications, the intake manifold is the highest point in the cooling system and requires relocating the filler. These necks feature port provisions for two 1/4 inch NPT intake manifold bypass fittings, one 1/2 inch NPT water temperature gauge fitting, and the ability to mount the main body positioning the outlet to the left side or right side. CNC machined from 6061 billet aluminum for the cost of other similar cast aluminum kits. Available in four outlet hose sizes, 1.250 inch O.D., 1.500 inch O.D., -12 AN male, and -16 AN male, and four finishes, polished, clear anodized, black anodized, red anodized. Just add a radiator-style pressure cap, and you're ready to go.
Can you use a thermostat with this? It doesn't say in the description anywhere.
