Engineered with an exclusive black PVC coating, JEGS Black Coated Brake Hose is equipped to withstand damaging abrasion and corrosion better than steel brake line. Beneath the resistant black coating is a braided PTFE liner designed to be used with any hydraulic or brake fluid at temperatures ranging from -4 to 500 degrees F. Low expansion rates and high burst strength, exceeding 12,000 PSI, allows for performance and efficiency like no other; plus each hose comes complete with factory crimped steel fittings completely eliminating the possibility of leaks.
