Rated 4 out of 5 by from It works - Slowly I used this pump on a pair of 502 marine engines this weekend. I use 20W-50 oil in these and it took about 30min per engine to get the oil out. The pump sounds like a coffee grinder but doesn't seem to draw all that much current. If I was able to heat the engines up before using this tool it may have sped things up. My engines have already been winterized and is on the hard. If you're in no hurry the extractor works fine. Just plan on doing other things while it works away.
