    Rated 4 out of 5 by from A great deal but the latch is not made like stock Over all a super deal. The only part that didn't look like factory was the latch, it's a folded sheet metal piece where the factory was a solid chunk of metal. Still a bunch of good parts for a great price.

    Rated 1 out of 5 by from Major Filing and Grinding Required I bought this tailgate kit for my 72 C10 project. I recently put a brand new bed on the truck and needed the tailgate hardware kit to go along with it. The handle in this kit required major grinding and filing on the top side to avoid scraping against the tailgate and to enable the rods to pull the strikers all the way open. If you buy this product, be prepared for a lot of filing and trial placement and fitment to get it right. Seems like the manufacturer could do a better job at getting closer tolerances to avoid customer frustration.

    Are the metal parts Zinc coated like the hinges? I would think the handle is coated like the tailgate in black electrostatic primer? THANKS
