  • Safe When New. Safe When Worn.

Michelin Premier LTX Tires are designed for drivers that demand the best wearing and performing all weather tires to keep them, their cargo and most importantly their passengers safe in their sport utility vehicle (SUV) or crossover utility vehicle (CUV). Michelin Premier LTX Tires stop shorter on wet pavement, even when worn, than most other new tires! The Michelin Total Performance difference is what sets these tires miles away from all competitors, as they strive to provide more safety, durability, performance and fuel efficiency without any trade offs.

  • Shorter Stopping - Even when worn, these tires still stop shorter on wet roads than leading competitors' brand-new tires
  • Hydroplane Resistance - As the tire wears the center rain grooves expand and emerging grooves open on the side tread to maintain traction.
  • Excellent Wet Grip - Extreme amounts of silica in the EverGrip compound provides exceptional wet grip for everyday handling
  • Lasting Winter Performance - Sunflower Oil keeps the EverGrip Compound flexible in lower temperatures along with many tread blocks and sipes that act as biting edges to cut through the snow

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great choice for my 2014 Escape AWD My Ford Escape OEM tires were awful in the Winter on snow and ice. I've installed the Premier LTX and have been extremely happy with them. The performance on snow and ice is outstanding! the wet performance is very good as well. I've put 30,000 miles on them and they show minimal wear that is very even. I live in MN and have run these tires in blizzards and -40 temps as well as temps in the 90's and in very heavy rain. I don't pull a trailer or do any real off road driving. And... They look great!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Smooth and quiet Replaced the OE Michelin MXM tires on my 2015 Acura RDX (56,000 miles) with Premier LTXs. Very noticeable improvement in ride comfort, road feel and road noise. Hopefully the treadwear will be as good as the OE tires.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great tire. poor mileage life If your main objective is high mileage life, this is not your tire. I have these on 2 SUVs and they are the best handling (dry and wet), and plushest ride of any Michelin yet. Based on Michelin's own specification charts, their tread depth when new is on the low side. No source has been able to tell me why that is. The average to negative reviews are piling up fast .....something needs to be changed on this tire's tread compound, tread depth when new, etc.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Fantastic while they lasted Bought these just over 2 years ago and they had a perceivable improvement over the OEM tires they replaced, especially in standing water on the road. Only got about 45,000 out of them before I had to replace them though. I do 100 miles a day, 50 miles each way highway, no hulling or towing. Loved the tire, will probably go with something else next time to get more life.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Disappointing after Latitude Touring HP After replacing Latitude Touring HP's, I was disappointed right away due to noise. Handling was the same. I got over 100,000 kilometers on the original Lat. Touring HP's, but only 55,000 on the replacement Defenders.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Road Noise and Tread Growl Tried to save money and purchased a highly rated tire from another company. $100 less per tire. Road noise was horrible, even though reviews noted how incredibly quiet these tires are. Returned them and had Premier LTX tires put on car. My research indicated these were very quiet tires, and hey, they were Michelins so what could go wrong! Boy, I was mistaken. The Michelins at $100 more per tire are incredibly noisy. Indeed, no better than the first tires, and I'm out a considerable amount of money. Very disappointed.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very nice...While they last! 17k miles on them and they need replacing! They were quiet and smooth, didn't handle all that well in the snow. '13 Honda Crosstour EX-L is what they were on.
