Simply remove your distributor, chuck your primer in any 3/8'' drill and prime away! Moroso's primer spins the oil pump to prime the system before firing up a fresh engine. Eliminates destructive ''dry starts''.

  • Used to build up oil pressure in new engines before initial starting
  • Remove the distributor and insert the primer to engage the end of the oil pump drive
  • Fits 3/8'' drive drill chuck
  • Black oxide finish resists rust

  • 62210 - Moroso Oil Pump Primers is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from GREAT TOOL! I purchased a "drop in" 302 for my 1965 Mustang. It was recommended that the oil filter be partially filled and the oil pump primed before start. I did not pre fill the oil filter because on small block Ford engines the filter is almost horizontal. What I did do is put 5 quarts of oil and break in additive into the crankcase and pr9ime the system with this tool and a cordless drill motor. Worked to perfection. Filled the oil filter and primed and pre oiled the engine. This is a very high quality tool. It was much better than I ever expected.
