OER FT6004A Features:
Correct reproduction of the original fuel tank designed for with 1970-1971 Dodge Dart, Valiant, Swinger, Duster, Demon models with EEC (evaporative emission control). This reproduction fuel tank is manufactured in stamped steel featuring a heavy Zinc coating for rust and corrosion prevention. Features an 16 gallon fuel capacity. Includes fuel sending unit lock ring and gasket. This tank is designed for early EEC systems with four vent tubes on the left side of the tank. Note: Fuel tank to filler neck grommet sold seperately.
The EEC system is a method of controlling HC emissions by collecting fuel vapours from the fuel tank and carburetor fuel bowl vents, and directing them into an engine intake manifold.
