OER FT6011B Features:
Reproduction of the original fuel tank designed for use with 1968-70 Dodge and Plymouth Coronet, Belvedere, GTX, Road Runner, and Satellite models. This is a 19-gallon fuel tank with two vent pipes on the front of the tank. This fuel tank is manufactured in plated steel featuring a niterne coating same as original. Designed to replicate the original Mopar factory-installed fuel tank. Includes lock ring and gasket. Fuel tank to filler neck grommet available seperately. Note: Not for use with Charger models.
Ni-terne steel is a lead-tin alloy of approximately 92% lead and 8% tin, which has a dull gray finish, is very ductile and has a lubricating characteristic that enhances formability in drawing operations. The Ni-Terne fuel tanks were original equipment and commonly used in various 1950's, 1960's, and 1970's models.
