Jeep Chassis Harnesses
Rewire your old Jeep with the latest in technology. Painless kits feature modern blade-type, 22-circuit fuse blocks, high temp, insulated wire and ''through the firewall'' connection plus wiring for:
- 4WD control
- Cigarette lighter
- E-brake indicator
- Back-up lights
Kits for pre-75 models replace your old glass tube fuses with modern blade fuses and include the same features but front wiring exits the firewall through a grommeted hole.
Specifications:
Painless Jeep Chassis Harnesses are factory upgrades that use the OEM-style fuse block and TXL high-temperature wire for trouble-free performance. Open-ended wire leads allow for custom routing of wires. The standard features included with harnesses for CJ-2/CJ-5 built 1974 and earlier, where the wires run through a grommet in the bulkhead and the key is in the dash. Harnesses for CJ-6/CJ-7 built 1975 and later use the factory-style bulkhead connector, so no special brackets are required; they also include additional GM pre-wired plugs for the ignition switch, dimmer switch, and turn signals. Painless Performance Jeep YJ wiring harnesses feature a factory-style bulkhead connector and an ATO-type fuse block. All Painless Performance harnesses are color-coded and labeled high-temperature TXL stock and all wire leads are labeled for easy routing. Painless Performance Jeep YJ harnesses contains all of the connectors, fuses, flashers, and relays you will need for a professional fit and finish installation.
