555-5245 - Steeda Subframe Connectors, IRS and Chassis Braces is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from The people of the interwebs were right! It seems like everyone on every Mustang forum will say, "the first mod to do to your SN95 is Sub frame connectors" and I must say this does wonders for the car and the internet didn't lie. Yes the car still has terrible suspension geometry and a live axle, but..... a solid chassis allows that terrible suspension to work and move as intended. Install took a while for me, as i had a small welder, and grinding and fitting the Sub frame connectors to by bent up frame rails took some patience.. worth it, maybe 10hrs start to finish for a home hack. But despite using the 90amp from harbor freight, the welds are ugly, (so ugly) but they are holding, no cracks yet after maybe 500miles. so I have my hopes up. Anyway, I picked these over the MM ones due to the Torque boxes being included and reinforcement plates being installed already. I made another tab out of scrap metal to put on the inside front of the rails as i had a big gap there. Recommended for handling before springs/dampers/swaybars, these will let those work properly once installed.. much more stable and quiet ride!
