Specifications:
Strange Engineering has been the leader in drag racing brake kits since 1965 and is the only manufacturer of forged steel 1-piece brake rotors. Compared to common 2-piece bolt-together rotors, the 1-piece design is far superior in weight reduction, strength, and longevity. All Strange Pro Race Rotors are slotted; slotting was developed by Strange to minimize warping as well as weight.
All kits feature the sought-after 4-piston directional caliper, which accomplishes superior bridge bolt strength at only 2.7 pounds. Strange Directional Calipers have 1.75" and 1.625" OD stainless steel pistons to ensure optimal pad wear and exceptional pedal/handle feel. Every caliper is internally ported and includes square .100" O-rings to assist piston retraction.
Strange Pro Race Steel Front Brake Kits offer a tremendous weight savings over OE brake components. A complete 4-piston brake kit (bearings, hubs, rotors, pads, calipers) weighs only 33.5 pounds! They are unsurpassed in detail, as is evident in the hub design with one bolt circle. Instead of an additional bolt circle, Strange machined five large lightening holes to reduce rotating weight. Billet aluminum hubs are further lightened by a scalloped design and fully machined billet aluminum hub cap.
