Each sheet resists up to 2000 degrees F of radiant heat and direct temperatures of up to 300 degrees F. With a 70 mil thickness and a high-temp adhesive backing, the Suppressor is easy to install and ideal for use on interior doors, firewalls, or floorboards.

I've already purchased this insulation but haven't installed it yet. I want to put this on the top and bottom of my floor boards. The mufflers are 1/2" below the floorboards. Will this insulation hold up to the heat just above the muffler?

Ad says need spray glue. Isn't this product self sticking.
