OER 1667334W 1969 Camaro, Firebird; Rear Wheelhouse Assembly; 6" Mini-Tub; Weld-Thru Coated; Driver Side Features:
When doing a restomod there is no longer a need to widen the inner and outer wheelhouse panels to form a full rear minitub. You can now purchase our complete rear wheelhouse minitub panels to make the job easier.
This quality, stamped steel panel is made to accommodate larger width tires, and are designed to replace the entire wheelhouse assembly, including both the inner and outer wheelhouse panels. Each minitub is designed to work on both coupe and convertible bodies. OEM tubs measure 3-3/4" inside width at the front where the inner wheelhouse meets the seam to the outer wheelhouse. This mini-tub measure 6" where the inner wheelhouse meets the seam to the outer wheelhouse, adding the additional width you need to run beefier rear tires without the need to flare the rear quarter panels. The total width at the center of the tub is 15-1/4 inches instead of 12-1/2 inches.

This panel features OER® new, innovative Weld-Thru primer coating. Save time with this all-new coating process that is designed to eliminate the unnecessary process of grinding or sanding an EDP coating off to ensure a solid and rust-free weld. The Weld-Thru primer requires minimal preparation and eliminates corrosion problems between overlapped panels and layered spot welds. It also minimizes heat zone problems, reduces panel distortion, and allows better penetration into the dense replacement steel to compensate for the older metal's impurities.
