BD Diesel makes their cooler bypass blockoff to help protect your transmission for heat. If you are running at increased pressure loads for long periods all the fluid can be routed back into the transission instead of through your cooler. This allows the fluid to be superheated by the engine loads cooking your transmission from the inside out.
