Advance Adapters 50-6805 Features:
- Our 50-6805 will allow you to adapt a GM TH350 3 speed automatic transmission to the Jeep NP231 transfer case. The adapter housing is 1.50” in length and is manufactured from 356-T6 heat treated aluminum alloy. We also supply a mounting provision on the bottom of the housing to bolt-on our heavy duty transmission mount (716008). The adapter kit includes an adapter housing, new 27 spline NP231 input shaft, bearing, gasket, seal, o-ring, fastening hardware and adapter instructions.
- Note: the new NP231 input supplied in this kit cannot be used with a Tera 4:1 kit
- Transfer Case
- The adapter assembly will fit either the Jeep NP231 transfer case with a 21 or 23 spline input shaft. This input shaft protrudes from the face of the transfer case 1.19” or 2.12”.
- Note: the new NP231 input supplied in this kit only fits NP231 model years 1995 & up.
- Transmission
- This adapter kit is designed for exclusive use with the 4wd GM TH350 automatic transmission. This GM automatic was commonly found stock in vehicles from 1969-81. It was used in both pickups and car applications. The TH350 has an aluminum, 1 piece case and is 21.5” in length.
- Note: The 1980’s version on the TH350 cannot be used with this adapter
