Advance Adapters 712572-A Features:
- This adapter plate assembly is used to adapt a GM V8 Engine to the Scout Torqueflite 727 3 speed automatic transmission. The adapter kit will include a steel adapter plate, Chevy crankshaft bushing, Scout torque converter spacer’s, Chevy 168th flexplate drilled to fit the Scout torque converter, fastening hardware, and adapter instructions.
- Kit is not intended and does not fit GM LS engine.
- Note: The flexplate included in this kit is for exclusive use with the 1985 & earlier GM V8 that is internally balanced.
- Late model V8’s that are externally balanced feature weights on the flexplate. The weights interfere with the Scout torque converter bolt pattern.
- Note: The torque converter stack-up height that we have allowed for only works with Scout torque converters that were used with the Scout 304 / 345 V8 engines. This kit is not intended for use when replacing a Scout 6 cylinder.
