Rated 5 out of 5 by from You can't build from scratch as good for the $ Ok look I didn't purchase my long block thru Kegs mainly because the plant at Kearney Nebraska where these are built is less than a days drive from me so I went direct. Yes it was a little cheaper to go this way but the cost of gas, food, motel room etc made up the difference when all said and done....hind sight I shoulda bought it thru Jegs and got a deal on the shipping and stayed home and drank a cold beer....lol Anyway the Blueprint Guys test all the stuff they build at the Drag Strip right there close to the plant ( Kearney race way park NHRA ) and I know personally one of the guys who works there and builds these and other Big Block High Performance Engines and there is no way I could build from scratch anything as good or with warranty that had this much HP and Cubic Inches. I put mine in a tube chassis steel body except the main body she'll but everything else is fiberglass race weight front clip, hood, deck lid, doors, and full set of lean windows that weighs well under 3000 lbs with me in it and the car has no problem running in the mid 8's in the 1/4 mile and all with hydraulic roller cam to boot ! Yes I run a better intake that's been ported and polished, a Custom Built Dominator Carb and we removed the heads and did a nice clean up and polish to them and corrected 2 valve seats that were not just right but we finished it and it's never gave me one lick of trouble period....easy to tune in to the track and very consistent. I know very high dollar engines that are way bigger and better but none are even close to being as dependable as this one is

aside from one piece rear main seal, will my mark IV components fit this engine. ( intake, headers, distributor, oil pan, harmonic balancer, water pump, etc. Can you use a one piece oil pan gasket, aftermarket starter, 168 tooth flex plate?

    Asked by: Nitro jon
Yes the components that you have will work on our 632! You will need to get a tall deck specific intake manifold and verify that the balancer that you have is for an internal balance engine.
