Notes
- Due to the differences in lifter styles, lifter oil bands must be checked at the camshafts full lift for ensuring proper valvetrain lubrication
- Proper assembly requires the installer to measure all tolerances for correct clearances
- Main bores will be undersized and require an align hone for proper crankshaft clearance
- Requires cam bearings with same cam 2 in. housing bore on all five journals (same as GM Bowtie block)
- Requires a +0.300 in. tall lifter
Torque Specs: All torque specs are based on the use of light motor oil
- Outside Main: 35 ft.-lbs
- Inside Main: 75 ft.-lbs
- Front and Rear Main: 75 ft.-lbs
