What Are The Main Benefits of JBA Mopar Shorty Headers?

JBA Mopar shorty headers are less restrictive than factory exhaust manifolds, improving both horsepower and torque. They are also available in stainless steel and with either silver or titanium ceramic coating, which helps reduce underhood temperatures and provides a long service life.

How To Install JBA Mopar Shorty Headers

Depending on the engine and chassis, the steps on installing JBA Mopar shorty headers can differ. In most cases, the first step is removing the original exhaust manifolds and Y-pipe (if replacement is included in the kit). Next, the new headers are bolted to the engine using header bolts with header gaskets. The end of the header attaches to either the factory Y-pipe, or one provided by JBA. After double-checking all connections, the engine can be started. Once no exhaust leaks are found, the vehicle can be driven.
