Rated 5 out of 5 by from best value if you're looking at this rotisserie then you know this is by far the least expensive unit you can get (now even less that what I paid). even though its listed as only 2000 pounds its very robust and has no trouble with my 65 Mustang. other reviews note that the cross beam is too short and they're right, you'll need to get 48-to-54-inch tube steel to fit most cars (unpainted tube in the photo). it's a bit of a pain to drill all new bolt holes so get a good drill and new bits. I also was very pleased with the shipping. most other companies made a fuss about forklifts, lift gates and that the drivers won't help. the shipping company Jegs used was awesome, the driver dropped this where my wife asked with no complaints. if you are starting a body shop this one isn't for you, but for a DIYer this will be all you'll need. good luck.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Rotisserie Highly Recommended to Buy it Awesome rotisserie for my needs and that’s all I can tell you. Great price point. Well made for what I paid. Restoring a 1957 VW and this unit does the trick perfectly. Car chassis and body are lite, so like I said it works great for me. I would imagine that is you are restoring a ‘57 Cadillac it might be under weight for that project. Depends on your application. Be prepared to fab up your own chassis and or body adapters, unless your lucky enough to find a vendor selling a set for your application. At the end of the day, you get what you pay for. For the price it’s awesome but it just might not be perfect for every weight car of vehicle. Jegs shipped it to me in two days to my shop which was excellent not spending money and wondering when I would ever see it, like a lot of other companies I have been dealing with lately. Overall Highly Recommended purchase depending on your project. Be ready to find pictures online of this thing assembled, because the directions included are worthless and it’s faster to pull up color photos online to assemble it faster and make sense of all the parts in the crate.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good rotisserie for the money For the money this rotisserie works well. Had to make a few modifications. The cross arms are way to short. I had to buy square tubing and make new arms. I also put a jam bolt on the top of the main tube to keep tension on the tube when you release the pins and it doesn't spin freely. Normally I'm rotating it by myself and this is just extra insurance. I had a 65 chevelle on it and will be putting a 71 camaro on it down the road. Also keep in mind you'll have to make your attachments to bolt up to your vehicle. Nothing comes with the unit. I had a more expensive rotisserie many years (triple of what this cost) and it works just as good. Balancing the car was fairly easy. No issues there. I'd recommend this rotisserie for the DYI guy.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Ok but it needs upgrades, listed below I bought this and didn't know much about it. The directions don't help. The bearings it comes with are junk, get axial bearings from McMastercarr or similar for 1/2" shaft. It will make it much easier to raise and lower. Also, grease everything. It doesn't mention this but the threaded shaft needs ample grease. Also, it doesn't align up well and sometimes I needed a sledge hammer to get the unit to lower. I made the arms fit my chassis (Honda Civic) by cutting and welding. It's barely wide enough for a civic but it's manageable. Also, the key is to find the center line of balance, without it I bent the arms trying to spin it. I had the leveler maxed out to get it to rotate. Then it was easy. So, if you're still reading, upgrade the bearings and grease everything. Good luck.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not What I Expected It looked good before assembling. Once assembled, the support beams were to narrow, about a foot on each side, and modifications were required to mount a 69’ Mustang (i.e. welding additional beam To accommodate length). Vertical beam gets jammed when trying to lower the vehicle. Locking pins don’t align accurately and are fidgety. I should have paid the extra $300 to get a better unit.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from It's not the best quality you get what you pay for I guess definitely spend the extra money and get a heavier one

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Get what you pay for If your restoring a foreign car this might work and I emphasize the might the if your frame rails are further than 33 inches apart modifications will need to be made this is certainly not designed with American cars in mind wth Jegs it is not 5 foot wide except at the base where you ned even more width
