Rated 4 out of 5 by from exhaust clamp "Stepped" design makes it easy to match up exhaust tubing during installation, and these usually seal very well, unless you try to use them on a diameter that is too large or too small

Rated 3 out of 5 by from it runs big Overall great structure and will do the great job well. The only thing is the sizing is off which is a little big then the advertised size.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from leakers I bought some before this for a project and needed more. They were on back order and when I received them they were obviously from another manufacturer and seemed to be of a lesser quality. Had my new exhaust installed a professional and he warned me not to use these clamps. The two new ones I received would not even clamp down tight and would slip. Well I had to go back to him (more $) and he took them off and welded exhaust as these leak terribly. Now my exhaust is as it should be, no leaks. I would not really recommend these clamps. Sorry.

What are the actual I.D.'s of both sides of this clamp when tightened? It's probably useful to include this information in the details of all these preformed band clamps.

    Asked by: FJ40
This is made to allow a 2" OD pipe to slip into a 2" id muffler and seal it, it has a rand of about + or - 1/8"
