JEGS 80524 Details
Note: This method is not recommended for use on engines where the piston stop can contact the valves (i.e. Chevy angle plug heads). Each engine is different, and the design of the piston / chamber / spark plug / valve locations may cause interference between the piston stop & valves. If this is the case, you should use another method to find Top Dead Center.
Provides a positive stop to locate the piston at top dead center for cam indexing, valve adjustment, and distributor installation. Threads into any cylinder head with a 14mm spark plug hole. Zinc dichromate finish for durability and corrosion resistance. .
