Measuring spring height is vital to any properly tuned engine. That is why Proform offers their own quality valve spring height mic that measures the installed valve spring height on most V8 engines. Simple to use, just install the height micrometer instead of a valve spring. Rotate the clear to read engraved dial to expand the tool to seat the valve, locks and retainer.

    66902 is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 2.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from works good but, check fitment for large springs Works great...but FYI it will not fit retainers for large triple valve springs. So check your valve spring size and make sure it fits first.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Modification required for Ford FE's This is a nice product and seems well-made (unfortunately in Taiwan) but does not work on Ford FE engines as-is. I had to grind about 1/8" off the threaded inner portion of the tool in order to gain enough clearance to install the keepers in the factory Ford valve spring retainers on my 360 engine. Proform should elaborate on the claim that this fits "most V8's." There are still one or two FE's out there!
