Rated 5 out of 5 by from Simple and easy Nothing complicated about this part. Take out the old one and pop in this bad boy. Removed a 3 speed manual and replaced with a th400. Mocked up the part, ground some metal, welded, bolted, finished. They supply holes for you to bolt if you want but it was cleaner to weld it.

I have a 82 GMC C10 2WD and am doing an 5.3 LS paired to a TR6060. Will This work with that transmission?

    Asked by: yotekyle
We have not tested the 6420 with a TR6060 unfortunately. So we cannot say for certain if it will work with your combination.

I just want to verify the fitment as this is the only cross member listed for a 67 c10... I have a 700r4 from a 91 with a non LS engine, will I have any fitment problems using this crossmember? I don't want to drill new holes in the frame.

    Asked by: aking28
Your application is what this crossmember is designed for.

Will this fit a 71 C10 with a 350 and Muncie 4 speed? It is not an LS but I don't see another option.

    Asked by: Nuttsy
This will bolt into the chassis. Modification would be necessary if it is not an LS engine.
