    In most cases, Borgeson Power Steering Box Conversions replace factory manual steering without modification to steering shafts and pitman arms. The GM Delphi 600 is used for power conversions, and represents the latest generation of power steering gearbox technology. The 600 offers mordern power steering feel and feedback.

    Manual Steering Box Conversion Kits can reduce vehicle weight by 28 pounds for more horsepower. Borgeson uses only the Saginaw 525 steering box because the Vega 140 box is inadequate for midsize cars.
