Hooker BH2585 Blackheart Gen III Hemi Swap Mid-Length Headers:
- Tubing bent for maximum clearance
- Lightweight 18-gauge mandrel-bent mild-steel
- 3/8 in. thick CNC waterjet cut header flanges
- 1 7/8 in. primary tubes with a long transition 3 in. collectors with merge spears for flow and exhaust velocity
- O2 bungs in both collectors
- Includes attaching hardware and detailed instructions
Supporting Components for Hooker Blackheart BH2585 Required for Proper Fitment (Each Sold Separately):
- Gen III Hemi Engine Swap Mounting Brackets BHS524
- Gen III Hemi Engine Swap Crossmember BHS525
- Correct Transmission Crossmember Adapter Bracket for transmission being used
- GM style 2-bolt transmission mount such as JEGS 555-61820 or Hooker 71223029HKR or equivalent
- Collector outlets connect to the Hooker Blackheart Gen III Hemi Engine Swap Exhaust System for this application
- Other exhaust systems will require Hooker Headers Blackheart Exhaust Adapter Pipe Kit 42107 to attach to the headers
- Installation of these headers with any other combination of engine and transmission mounting components may cause interference with vehicle components and reduce ground clearance
- Will not work with factory column shift linkage
- 2003-2008 5.7L Hemi engines will use header gaskets 7594 (sold separately)
- 6.1L, 6.2L, 6.4L, and VVT equipped 5.7L Hemi engines will use header gaskets 7595 (sold separately)

- The resulting vehicle is identical (with regard to all emissions-related parts, engine design parameters, and engine calibrations) to a certified configuration of the same or newer model year as the vehicle chassis
- The vehicle is an uncontrolled vehicle - Vehicles that were manufactured before emission control regulations took effect are called uncontrolled vehicles. Aftermarket parts regulations and anti-tampering laws do not apply to these vehicles
- An EO legal engine swap kit is utilized (such as a GM EROD)
- The vehicle is being used for Competition Use Only
