Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good flow The unit has a good output however one may encounter problems with leaking around threaded out because the o ring that is supposed to be used has only a partial seat.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Cheaply appearing pump. I just opened the package and there a large hanging burrs in the -12 bores. Also, according to the SAE J514 port spec there should be a 12 degree conical seat for the o-rig, which there is not. I’m going to presume the -12 port connections would have leaked immediately. Also, where the o-ring seat should be were large dings and gouges. Where the o-ring actually came to rest was directly on the edge of the hole, where there is no support or chance of any sealing action. I’m not sure which American machine shop has this low of quality, but I will never buy their products. More like painted in America. Rating is a 2 star because of my appreciation for what Jegs normally offers. I also respect a company that has their own product line, but for the love of god have some quality control too! Overall Appearance is fair, anodize looks good and not scratched. Value is… you get what you pay for. Quality to me is what met they eye, which was lacking. Ease of installation seems inadequate, although I never installed it. Two 5/16-18 threaded holes .375 deep seem too shallow for the weight of the pump, if you are going to be racing or rock crawling. I am returning the pump the day I received it. This is my experience. This product should be revisited by them before they slap their name on it.

What are this pumps pressure specifications?

    Asked by: BobbyB44
Water pumps are not classified by pressure as automotive coolant pressure is a result of heat. The typical automotive coolant pressure should never exceed 16 lbs PSI. That being said water pumps go by GPM ( gallons per minute ) and this unit runs at 20 GPM.
