Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good starter The starter sounds great and works better than the OEM one

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Don't waste your money I bought 2 of these a month ago thinking they would be a good starter. I was wrong, I have a 10.5:1 BBC and the starter barely lived through one ride. I am going to send the second one back and go with a power master.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Cheap JUNK I bought this starter recently when it was on sale!! I bought it due to the price and only installed it last week when we finished the engine for my car!! The started doesn’t come with bolts and we had to counter bore the mount to accept the bolts that I had ordered!! The starter has many problems and it simply is junk!! It hangs, doesn’t engage the flywheel ring deep enough, jumps out, and at times would try to do something and made a terrible noise.

Hi: Will this fit a 1980 corvette and will it have any issues with heat sink. Lastly, does it come with the mounting bolts.  Pls advise.  Thanks

    Asked by: Vette80
This should work for your application, The heat issue will depend on your exhaust system, you can always use a starter heat shield.
