Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for my 94 Jeep YJ! Nice quality radiator for a great price. This is the best price I could find for a name brand quality radiator and it doesn’t disappoint. The fit and finish are excellent. My Jeep is an auto 2.5 and this radiator came with all the fittings you need for both auto or manual. I got a electric fan for it with a fan shroud.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Champion Aluminum Radiator 5 star ⭐️ Fit my TJ perfectly, fan shroud bolts we different size , but I had the correct size in my collection, running at about 190 degrees going down freeway with outside temperatures of 105 in Utah. Totally satisfied!! Well packaged and quickly shipped! Thank you!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exact fit in my 97 TJ Exact fit in my 97 TJ 5 speed. Only change made was the shroud bolt holes are threaded for what I believe are 6mm x 1" and not the original standard thread. Didn't matter to me, I had some stainless hex heads that worked perfectly. Radiator seems to be high quality for the price and lifetime warranty is a big plus. Salesman told me they see more returns from the higher priced Griffins and BCools than they do these Champions. We'll see how it holds up but I've got faith in it. P.S. I drove 45 minutes farther to Jegs instead of that other hotrod shop up north that only had a comparable one for about twice the price! Kudos to Jegs, Thanks guys!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fits like OEM This was stupid simple to install. The factory one took longer to take out. It sure is shines, until it gets muddy later . The factory fan shroud screws will have to cut new threads in the nutserts that are perfectly aligned. No problem, just don’t over tighten.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from GREAT value Best price I found! Easy to install. Beautiful welds and polished aluminum. Had a tough time finding the right size bolt for the fan shroud to bolt to the radiator, it is a M6 BOLT!! Hopefully that helps out others. So glad I found this radiator!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic Perfect fit on my 98 Jeep TJ with the 2.5L, install was easy. It runs a little cooler than usual but not too much, performs great!

1 - Does this radiator increase the overall coolant capacity, if so by how much? 2 - Does this radiator require a hi-flow water pump? 3 - I see it's all shiny outside, are the internal welds epoxy or some other material other than aluminum?

    Asked by: jetski
1 - The capacity of the radiator will be similar to stock, slightly more. 2 - This radiator does not require a high flow water pump. 3 - All Champion Radiators are built with 100% welded seams and brazed core technology with absolutely no epoxy.

So I bought the radiator and I’m in the process of installing it in my 2001 Jeep Wrangler. The only issue I have run into is the mounting holes for the fan shroud are threaded. What size bolts does it take?

    Asked by: Helibroski
    These bolts should be 5/16"-18.

I'm assuming it's a straight bolt-in. Can I use my factory fan shroud?

    Asked by: Cavediverjc
This will be a close fit, you may need to slightly modify the mounts to make it work.

It says the radiator is for a 1986-2006. Then when you click on fitment it says 2002-2006 TJ. So will the fit my 2001 TJ sport?

    Asked by: Helibroski
Yes, this will fit your 2001 Jeep Wrangler.

I have a 2003 Jeep Wrangler X (TJ) 4.0L 5spd tranny, stock radiator doesn't have trans cooler outlets which I'm assuming are the 2 openings between the drain and bottom hose connection. Do I need certain plugs to make this work for my jeep?

    Asked by: Alex17
You block these off with any plug, there is no pressure or fluid that will be using the passage.

Is this a direct fit for a 2004 Jeep Wrangler X 4.0L with AC and manual transmission? Does it come with the plugs for the trans cooler hook ups?

    Asked by: Demik2
Yes, this will fit your application and comes with the transmission cooler outlets.
