    I noticed this engine has a compression ratio of 9.4 to 1 can i run 87 octane fuel in this engine? Application is a 1985 c30 dually.

    Can I use the factory fuel injection for my 99 tahoe vortec 5.7

    It will depend on your EFI setup, it should work in most cases. It will need to be re-tuned at the minimum.
