AMC100AK - Cold Case Aluminum Replacement Radiators for AMC, Mopar and Jeeps is rated 2.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from You get what you pay for The radiator and fans are nice, however... The shroud mounting slots are not in-line with the mounting holes on the radiator, I had to grind them open. You can even see this in the image in this ad. My shroud was missing one of the riv-nuts for the fan. The top tank corners hit the fender braces, cap hit the under side of my hood. I ended up lowering the whole radiator about 1" and shimming it towards the engine 1/2" this fixed the fender brace, cap clearance issues and let me put the upper filler plate back on the core support. After all of this extra work, it's sweet. Nice looking polished aluminum radiator with dual fans for a good price.

In the ad overview it says there are 2 oversized rows.  What are the widths of each tube.  Is the core thickness really 3 inches?  I am running a mildly built 401 in a AMX and need to know if a 2 row will be able to handle cooling it. Thanks. Bob

    Asked by: BobW
Bob, The rows in AMC100AK are dual 1.25" cores that allow for a considerable more capacity and tube surface are then a 4 core replacement radiator. Core thickness is around 2.75" the tank thickness is 3". Overall thick ness with fans runs 6.75" Don't let the "two Row" full you, our kit will be more then up to the task for your mild 401.
