The recent trend among engine builders has been to increase displacement. Engines exceeding 632ci are the norm. If this describes your vehicle, then this starter is what it needs. Because Meziere is involved in the high-performance auto industry as both manufacturers and racers, they know the trouble enthusiasts experience with starter failure. Standard testing includes amp draw, power and rotational speed under load, and free-rev testing to ensure proper balance of internal rotating parts.
