Rated 1 out of 5 by from Faulty upon arrival I had ordered this for 2 day delivery, it arrived on time. After installing the starter I went to connect my battery cables, positives first then when I went to attach the ground cable, sparks and the starter engaged! Doubled checked my connections, everuthing was good and tight and every Wire and cable connected to where it should be. I disconnected the ignition switch wire from the starter to isolate that, attempted to connect battery negative again, same thing happened. So I then disconnected the positive battery cable from the starter completely, set it aside so it wasn't in contact with anything. I then connected the battery cables with no sparks or problems. I removed the powermaster and installed the stock starter, made my connections with no problems and even started the truck with it. I have throughly eliminated anything on my end that would cause this starter from taking off on its own once the battery is connected. The starter itself is faulty more than likely its the solenoid on the starter. My new batteries are suffering damage to the terminal every time I attempted to connect the negative cable. I am sure this starter is as good as everyone says it is, I just happened to get the bad egg, once I get a replacement and have a functional starter I will update this review.
