- We recommend, when using stock type, bolt down, non-adjustable rocker arms that you purchase 555-20185 Pedestal Shim Kit to properly adjust the lifter pre-load. Please refer to "THE FAST AND EASY WAY TO CHECK HYDRAULIC LIFTER PRE-LOAD" in the instruction sheet (middle of page 3).
