Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice affordable coil that looks good I'm running this on VW 2110cc engine in my Dune Buggy because the coil that was on it failed. Living in the Arizona desert is hard on equipment, and with the way the coil is mounted the wires are pointed towards the ground. The old (Bosch ) coil started leaking oil around the seam and needed to be replaced. A new Bosch coil was $50+ while this one provides the same spark voltage for 1/2 the price. I can't tell any difference at all in performance so all good so far.

Can this be mounted on it's side and Is it compatible with a Dodge ECU?

    Asked by: Deste66
This is an Oil Filled coil and should be mounted vertically. It can be used on Mopar ignition systems. You would still need to use your resistor if you are using one now.
