Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product This was a great value. One suggestion is the flexible conduit the E brake cable travels thru is about 2" short for the 1967 Chev C-10. I am having to relocate the stock clip bracket on the axle struts.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Worked on my 1983 Chevy C10 Ok so all in all the kit is pretty good. Parts are of good quality, very nice sturdy brackets/spacers and self locking nuts. NOTE: The directions specifically say , "In order for these brakes work and bleed properly, you MUST use the E Brake portion". I know some say the e brake lines are to short, and they were for me to, so I just ran the e brake pedal line though the frame(see picture) unstead of under the frame by drilling a hole the same size as the factory cable mount under the frame. (Worked out great. Not to mention it helped clear my headersand 3" exhaust). So don't think you can just buy the kit and not hook up the e brakes. It comes with brake pads, rotors brackets, brake lines you will need to install by shorting the factory lines, you may also need to grind the caliper down a bit like I did. The factory 15" rally wheels just rubbed. So a grinder may be needed. Also 2 brake line tabs (encluded) need to be welded to the frame to hold new brake lines. So if you don't have a welder you may want a shop to install these. If you do have one it's a very easy job, they come pre cut to fit axle. Hope this helps. I was a bit apprehensive ordering these with the so so feed back. Long story short, they do work well with fairly easy modifications for the mechanically inclined.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Looks Good, Quality is Top Notch Havent installed them yet, but E-Brake Cables that come in kit are Not for (C10) Short Bed trucks. Everything else seems fine. Does come with Slotted/Drilled Rotors.

Has anyone used 15 x 10 American Racing Outlaw I wheels with these brakes. I see they recommend 16 inch wheels. I'm not wanting to buy new wheels.

    Asked by: Zig 64
Most of these brake kits will require 16" diameter wheels. You can test fir your wheels with the rotors and calipers in this kit before mounting.

What kind of removable backing plate are you speaking of?

    Asked by: Mrosen
The steel plate that is on the inside of the rotor area needs to be removable for this kit to be installed.
