SK12-212-2 - Comp Cams 'Magnum' Hydraulic Flat Tappet Camshafts is rated 3.8 out of 5 by 4.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great cam We bought this can kit and run it in a small block Chevy bored .30 , with a factory crank , 400 small block heads , wiend air gap intake manifold , 650 holley carb , headman headers. This combination was planned over a few years and each piece was bought and then assembled. So far we are very pleased with it. Recommend this for a great street ride that can back up its bark.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Great cam, garbage lifters now... UGH! Apparently Comp Cams is still selling these cam and lifter kits with the old pictures, CAVEAT EMPTOR! The lifters are not the old style shown in the pictures with the hardened faces and stout retaining springs. They are not what is shown in the pictures at all and are NOT made by Delphi if my research is correct. These are an off-shore/off brand and are not what we are used to for lifters from CC. I sent my kit back and will not be using their hyd flat-tappet lifter cam kits again unless they change back to a higher quality lifter. Nothing but horror stories from people who have broken in their CC cams following the procedures to the letter and still, wiping a lobe or two at least. Not worth the trouble to build a new motor and then wipe it out immediately with a pile of garbage lifter. C'mon, Comp Cams!! What happened to your quality we are all so familiar with from you?!?

What would be better a 3.73 or a 3.90 set of gears for this cam

Asked by: Ryan226
They will both work, but the 3.90 would be the best choice.

Will this fit my 83 Chevy c10 5.7 350. I believe the motor is a 96. If not what cam would be good for it? Any help is appreciated

Asked by: Joshray
This is a good choice for a street driven truck application and would fit your application.
