Rated 1 out of 5 by from Seven Deadly Sins Bought this transmission for my son's 1980 Camaro LS-swap project. It had so many problems that I made a YouTube video about it. The worst issue was a bent, malfunctioning Internal Mode Switch, which is inside the transmission (thus the name); I don't see how our Jeg's 4L70E could have passed a dyno test with that switch installed.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from My personal experience Purchased this transmission for my 2010 Silverado, install went great but I noticed next day there was oil leaks. Transmission was leaking from the front pump and oil pan. I contacted jegs and they said torque down the oil pan again and send us pictures of the front leak. Then after that I was told to drop the transmission so I have to pay for labor again on something that wasn’t my fault. And the day i take in my truck again to have the transmission removed the bell housing was separated from the transmission housing so my torque converter and starter were now damaged. And I can’t seem to get anyone on the phone so I hope jegs makes up for this as I understand things happen but I’m not too happy with how customer service has gone about it thus far.
