Small Block Mopar
The Speedmaster MidRise Air design features the identical plenum and runner design as the normal MidRise. The main difference is that there is an open area under the plenum chamber. This feature is sometimes called an air gap design. The air flowing under the plenum provides a cooler charge for the incoming air with less heat transfer from the engine. This cooler air charge provides additional power and torque.
This Speedmaster MidRise Air manifold is designed so that the same model fits both 318*-340-360 engines and the late Magnum V8s. It features nitrous bosses, an extra water port at the rear of the manifold and is available in a satin finish or highly polished show finish. The manifold is designed to accept the standard length bolts that came with your original engine. Special finishing plugs are provided to attractively cap off the unused bolt holes. Not only is this Eliminator model loaded with extra features not found on competitive manifolds, but it is also substantially less expensive.
