  • Due to cylinder heads (aluminum), Generation 6 BB-Chevy 502 will have clearance problems on some applications. Bottom of header flanges may hit head bolts. Notching may be necessary.

    Why are they "Not recommended for use with aluminum heads"...?

    They can be used, but with the following notation - Due to cylinder heads (aluminum), Generation 6 BB-Chevy 502 will have clearance problems on some applications. Bottom of header flanges may hit head bolts. Notching may be necessary.
