Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great starts and smooth running! I have always ran the stock coil on my cars when I had Pertronix ignition installed, not again. I finally paired it up with the Pertronix Flame-Thrower coil and now have even better starts and smoother running idle. My car definitely has more PEP!

On a Ford 390 with a "pink" ignition resistor wire, does this coil require direct 12v or should the stock resistor wire be used?

    Asked by: 68Galaxie
You will want to use the original resistor wire with this coil.
